Four steps to your first video
37Studio runs inside Docker Desktop, which keeps it and its tools in one sealed box on your computer.
16 GB RAM recommended, and about 10 GB free disk for the app and your footage.
- Install Docker Desktop. It's free for personal use and small businesses.
- Download 37Studio and unzip it anywhere, for example in Documents.
- Double-click
start.baton Windows orstart.commandon a Mac. The first start downloads about 3 GB; every later start checks for updates. - 37Studio opens in its own window. In Settings, paste your license key and your Claude key, then add your first company.
Questions people ask
Is 37Studio free?
The download is free. To use it you need a license, which is a one-time purchase: message us on WhatsApp or email jahangir@shaitrish.com. AI usage is separate and billed to your own Anthropic, Google and ElevenLabs accounts.
Do I need a server?
No. Everything runs on your own Windows PC or Mac inside Docker Desktop. The only things that leave your computer are calls to the AI providers and the social platforms you connect.
What happens when my computer is off?
Nothing is lost. Messenger and Instagram keep messages on Meta, and WhatsApp messages wait for you for 30 days. When 37Studio starts again it answers everything the platform still allows a reply to: messages from the last 24 hours and comments up to two days old. For round-the-clock replies, keep it on a computer that doesn't sleep, such as a Mac mini.
Can I use my Claude subscription instead of an API key?
An Anthropic API key is the supported way. Anthropic's terms don't allow software sold by others to run on a personal Claude subscription without their approval.
Which platforms can it post to?
Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts today, many per company. YouTube and TikTok publishing is built and coming soon. Facebook Groups and personal profiles can't be posted to by any app: Meta removed that in 2024 and 2018.
Does WhatsApp work?
Yes, in beta, for a number on the WhatsApp Business API. Keeping the same number on the WhatsApp Business phone app at the same time needs Meta to approve our app as a Tech Provider first, so for now use a number dedicated to the API.
Does it work in Bangla?
Yes. Videos, voiceovers, captions and replies can all be in Bangla, and replies follow the customer's language and script.
Where is my data?
In a data folder next to the app on your computer: companies, footage, finished videos, messages and settings. Back it up like any other folder. Your keys are encrypted there.
